After all, our bodies are more than 70% H2O so it is not surprising that most of us love the oceans – they make us feel peaceful and exhilarated whether we are by the seashore or in the ocean deep.

Yet, they need our help even if it is just in small actions – like volunteering for beach cleanups, removing dangerous debris you might come across in the ocean (like plastic bags) or taking part in keeping the mangroves and estuaries healthy and vibrant.
